Aamco Transmission in Springfield is very accommodating, and honest. When I saw my oil light come on periodically, I figured I had a month for an oil change and thought I would top it off. I accidently poured motor oil into the 'ATF only.' I then realized I made a huge mistake. I called Aamco and spoke with Mike. He quickly had my car setup for service. He called and said the oil had been placed in the power steering fluid, not the transmission. Thankfully, the cost to flush was half the cost, and no damage to the transmission. I had my car back quickly. Thank you Aamco and Mike for your great honest service!

I popped into a dealership when my engine light came on. They charged me $113 to tell me it was probably a selinoid in the tranny but to confirm, it would be $830 for further diagnostics.
I took my car into AAMCO where they were extremely friendly and helpful. Squashing my fears it would break the bank to fix. I had my car back a day later, running perfectly and ready for more adventures.
AAMCO is the place to go when you need your car taken care of without a lot of hoops to jump through.
Fast reliable service and great customer service
The staff was incredibly kind, helpful, and friendly. They told me what to expect and did the work in a timely manner. It was bonus that ther service was more affordable than anticipated.
Matthew listened to my concerns over the phone and was able to get me a next business day diagnostic appointment which was great! They were able to get the parts ordered and the repair done in the time frame that was promised. I really appreciated Matthews communication thru the whole process because of that I would 100% trust Springfield AAMCO with any transmission related issues going forward.
